Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to Belfry Atlas, operated by Belfry Labs, at app.belfrylabs.ai and related GitHub App features (the "Service"). By creating an account, installing the GitHub App, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Belfry Atlas maps, governs, and observes AI systems: models, agents, prompts, and policies. Capabilities include code and pull-request scanning, security and architecture review, runtime checks, and related dashboards. Features depend on your plan (starter, professional, or enterprise). Marketing pages describe modules that may require a paid plan or a services engagement.

New accounts receive a complimentary taste: 10 scans (in-app or GitHub pull requests, shared) and one Security & Architecture Review until a paid subscription is active. Complimentary usage is not reset by claiming or rebinding a GitHub installation. The Service is provided as software; we do not claim ISO 27001 certification of your environment, live Stripe catalog pricing, or vendor-scale mesh throughput unless a separate agreement says so.

You must provide a valid email and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and GitHub App installations you authorize. Notify us if you believe an account is compromised. We may suspend access for abuse, non-payment, or risk to other tenants.

You may not:

• Violate law or others' rights, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service or other tenants
• Use scans or reviews against systems you are not authorized to test
• Interfere with the Service, reverse engineer it except as allowed by law, or resell it without a written agreement
• Upload malware or content you do not have the right to process

You retain rights to source code, prompts, and other materials you submit. You grant Belfry Labs a limited license to process that material solely to provide the Service to your tenant. We do not claim ownership of your models or repositories. We do not use customer prompts or repository contents to train foundation models.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data. The Service is multi-tenant: your workspace data is isolated from other customers. We use encryption in transit and access controls; we do not represent that every field is end-to-end encrypted on the client.

Installing the GitHub App lets Belfry comment on pull requests in repositories you select. You can uninstall at any time. GitHub's terms also apply to your use of GitHub.

Paid plans are billed as described at checkout or in an order form. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with notice to existing paid customers. Complimentary scans stop when the included allowance is used; further scans require a paid plan. Budget or spend displays in the product are informational unless a specific control is documented as enforced at inference.

We aim for a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages (including GitHub and identity providers), and force majeure can affect availability. We may modify features with notice when the change is material.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." BELFRY LABS DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Findings and reviews are assistive; they are not a substitute for your own security, legal, or compliance review.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BELFRY LABS IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS IF YOU ARE ON A COMPLIMENTARY PLAN.

You will defend and indemnify Belfry Labs against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service (including scans of systems you are not authorized to test), or your breach of these Terms.

You may stop using the Service and request account closure. We may suspend or terminate for breach or risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain records required for security, billing, or law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
